- We are a guerilla knitting collective based in Wellington, New Zealand. Why the 8th Canoe? Because many of us are immigrants to NZ. By taking our creations outside, we hope to make people look at the city with fresh eyes, and remember what it was like when it was a new place, as it is to us.
